DELIVERY POLICY

The delivery policy is subject to availability and receipt of payment, general orders are processed within 2 - 7 working days and custom orders can take up to 28 working days. Delivery is confirmed by way of Email / WhatsApp / SMS once dispatched. Main city delivery is 1 - 3 working days, outlying areas are 3 - 5 working days and international 7 - 10 working days. All orders placed on a weekend or national public holiday will only be processed on the next working day.

Sometimes! Due to the high volume of orders, we experience, there will be an increase in processing time by 3 to 15 working days from receipt of payment. We always working hard to get your orders out as soon as possible and we appreciate your patience!

Processing time frame on pre-order's can take up to 21 working days before it has been dispatched.

Should you want to change your order from either a collection to delivery or delivery to collection there is a R650 admin fee that will be payable to confirm the change.

The provision of goods and services by Hair Kingdom Studio Pty Ltd is subject to availability. In cases of unavailability, Hair Kingdom Studio Pty Ltd will make this known and offer back-order sales.

ALL RISKS AND REWARDS OF OWNERSHIP ARE PASSED ONCE PICKED UP FROM OUR STORE OR COURIERED FROM OUR STORE. INSURANCE FOR THE PROTECTION OF THE PACKAGE IS AVAILABLE AT AN ADDITIONAL FEE.

The collection order processing time frame takes 07 - 21 working days from receipt of payment, please wait for a confirmation to come through.

We strive to utilize vendors that supply nothing but high-quality virgin hair. To ensure high-quality virgin hair and customer satisfaction, Hair Kingdom Studio Pty Ltd.'s hair is hand-selected and machine double-wefted. Our virgin hair is available in a variety of textures such as straight, wavy, and curly. Moreover, our company houses a lot of hair, and all virgin bundles may not come from the same donor. With that being said, we cannot guarantee all the same color bundles/wigs if placing an order of 3 or more bundles, strands of hair may be different shades of brown and that represents the authenticity of the hair. Some ends of the hair will generally be lighter than the roots due to aging. Please feel free to contact our customer service team at info@thehairkingdom.co.za with any questions you may have as our customers are always our top priority. Should you require further assistance with placing an order, enquire about our services, or updates on the status of your purchase you can contact us telephonically or by email and you will receive a response within 24 to 96 working hours.

All queries and concerns after purchase have been made online/in-store need to be directed to us either telephonically / via WhatsApp or by email as all of our stores are independently owned, resolving your queries have to be done directly through our head office in Chatsworth, Durban strictly by appointments only and at a cost of a R650 consultation fee is needed to be paid prior to coming in store. Before any of your items are assessed or handled it will have to be washed, this fee will be determined at the branch.

EXPORT RESTRICTION

The offering on this website is available to South African clients and international clients. International Orders may be subject to import taxes, customs duties, and fees levied by your country's customs department upon arrival. MYSTERY BOXES (PACKETS)

Contents in mystery box is packed randomly and given randomly. Contents may include but not limited to wig/s, hair care product/s, hair discount vouchers, bundles and closures.

Baddie on a budget option wigs

Our baddie on a budget option wigs is a newly introduced method which caters to our clients who want 100% human hair but on a budget. This is made specifically on request and confirmation of payment. Our budget option wigs are made between 1 to 2 bundles as it is depending on the length of the wig the client opts for. A standard length closure between 10 to 12" will also be used with discretion of the length of the wig. All sale items are not eligible for exchange, refund or returns however our management will use their discretion to process any of the following in respect to our terms and conditions and less any costs involved in making a wig specifically on a clients budget and preference IE. hairline customization. Information regarding baddie on a budget wigs are provided on request as it will be determined by the client on what information he/she requires.

HAIR KINGDOM WIGS AND CLIP-IN EXTENSIONS

All HAIR KINGDOM WIGS AND CLIP-IN EXTENSIONS are considered FINAL SALE items and are not eligible for returns or exchanges.

WE WILL NOT DO EXCHANGES ON WIGS FOR LENGTH CHANGES, PLEASE BE SURE OF THE LENGTH YOU PURCHASE. IF AN EXCHANGE IS ALLOWED AT THE MANAGER'S DISCRETION A HANDLING AND RESTOCKING FEE OF R1200 WILL BE CHARGED TO YOU.

ALL EXCHANGES ON BUNDLES/AFTERCARE PRODUCTS WILL RESULT IN A R1200 HANDLING AND RESTOCKING FEE PAYABLE BEFORE THE EXCHANGE IS PROCESSED.

All sales are final. We do not do refunds or exchanges regardless of the circumstances, or order cancellations.

HAIR KINGDOM STUDIO PTY LTD is an approved human hair retailer, for health concerns and sanitary purposes, we cannot accept returns on all wigs, lace systems, or unused, used, or opened hair bundles. If a return and refund is permitted, this will follow suite in respect to our terms and conditions and our managements discretion.

All gift cards and SALE ITEMS are FINAL Sales.

HAIR KINGDOM - UNPACKAGING HAIR

When your hair is with us it is nurtured and loved, it sadly must endure a few days being boxed and in transit to you. When received it needs to be restyled to give you the look you see in our pictures. RESTYLING is a requirement. As a hair user, you NEED to own a hair dryer (Wahl or GHD) and a hair iron (GHD or Cloud 9). Curls must be sprayed, combed, and styled down.

HAIR KINGDOM - UNDERSTANDING CURLS

Curls experience shrinkage during the curling process, this a very natural process, which can be understood by your natural hair, the true length is visible when your hair is stretched out. The tighter the curls the greater shrinkage and shortness. Even when stretched out to measure it may appear shorter by 1 to 3 inches (Especially Mongolian, Malaysian, Jerry, Kinky, and Deep curls). You can choose any length of hair, the choice is basically yours, however understanding how curls work prevents misunderstanding.

Below is how to measure hair, EXPECT SHRINKAGE AND SHORTNESS BY 1 to 3 INCHES ON TIGHT CURLS.

Curls may vary slightly in appearance.

For example:

• 20" curls may look the same size at 14" straight
• 30" curls may look the same size as 24" straight

Your hair is your choice - the scenario applies across the board of hair companies!

HAIR KINGDOM WEAVES, WIGS AND CLOSURES

All HAIR KINGDOM WEAVES AND CLOSURES are considered FINAL. SALE items at further reduced prices are sold as a standard option and are not eligible for returns, however we will gladly EXCHANGE unopened/unused/sealed bundles which must be returned within 3 days after receiving the package.

We strive to ensure each, and every client understands the quality/ standard/ grade of the products offered, it is the client's choice to make when choosing a specific grade of hair, therefore we offer no guarantees on any of the products purchased from us, we ensure that each type/grade of hair is at the best quality for the price offered. Also remember, each vendor will grade their hair according to their standard, at Hair Kingdom Studio Pty Ltd, we specifically isolate and explain each grade of hair, giving our gorgeous clients a choice to suit their budget.

Please note, in no way can grade 8A be compared to grade 14A, price influences quality. We stock only the finest quality hair for each type/ grade; therefore, we make it our aim to help our clients understand the grading system as well as the characteristics of the hair. All hair regardless of its quality under negligence is prone to tangling, shedding and damage. High care using quality products like L'Oreal or Wella will minimize these factors.

Please have realistic expectations of your hair based on the price you pay. In saying this, one can not expect characteristics of an R12000 wig to be present in an R1500 wig keeping in mind both choices of wigs are available at your choice of purchase.

Wigs may differ slightly from pictures in texture, styling, and color.

COLOR

All authentic hair may vary in shades. The principle can be applied to your natural hair, every woman has a different shade of brown/black or both! Likewise, donors have different shades of strands. At times the hair bundles and closures may be colored to match appropriately! This process is done across the globe by 100% of hair vendors.

Remember, each person's hair carries its own characteristics, one soft, one coarse, one dry, one silky, when the hair is donated, it is treated and styled to deliver its desired look, bearing in mind the history of the donor, the hair at times may resume to original characteristics. This is a natural and unavoidable process in the hair industry.

In respect to color, the hair may have been pre-colored before your purchase, and when bleached it may change to different colors of browns, blondes, or coppers. This is a natural process and a professional hair colorist will be able to adjust the color perfectly.

Many hair companies avoid disclosing the facts about hair and claim to sell it on some invalid terms. At Hair Kingdom Studio Pty Ltd, we strive to educate and teach more than sell products. We will not be held responsible for hair not achieving your desired look and outcome.

12A hair can be bleached and dyed to standard blondes/ browns or coppers. 14A hair can be bleached to lighter blondes such as 27/613/60. Remember lighting on pictures/pc may not accurately reflect a color, speak to a professional colorist before coloring. We are not liable for unprofessional color or bleaching services. Know your hair grades and color at a professional for the best-desired results. Colors may differ due to lighting and process. Color will never be exactly as a picture. We are not responsible for achieving color exactly as a picture, please speak to a professional colorist before coloring. Natural color 1b varies from dark brown to medium brown.

In some cases in order to achieve consistent hair color, virgin hair may have been dyed by us in natural brown or natural black, and in these instances hair may not take to further coloring due to the prior color process. It is your duty to inform us of your coloring intentions before purchasing so we can best advise you.
